Come As You Are

If it's your first time at St. Peter, you are our honored guest. Because we understand that feeling comfortable is important when visiting a church for the first time, we would like to offer a little help as you plan your visit! Read on to discover answers to common questions like, “Where do I go?” “What is worship like?” and “What will people be wearing?”.

New Visitor FAQ

Where Do I Go?

If you will be attending our Blended Worship, we ask that you come straight to our sanctuary as our Praise Band, Spiritdriven, will begin playing at 8:25 a.m.

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 a.m. so that we can have a chance to meet you, share a cup of coffee with you, and answer any questions that you may have. If you would like to attend a Sunday School class, we would be glad to help. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.

Traditional Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.

What Is Worship Like?

Worship at St. Peter is God-centered. Whether you visit our Contemporary Blended Service or the Traditional Service, our hope is that you begin your week with us, and that you leave filled with the Lord in your heart so that you can carry Him through the week ahead.
Regardless of how you choose to worship, both services contain hymns, liturgy, a children's message, and weekly sermon. Click here for more details on our unique worship offerings.

What Do People Wear?

We have a pretty simple philosophy when it comes to our 'dress code': Come as you are.

What Is There For My Kids?

At both Blended and Traditional Worship there is a Children's Message.

Sunday School, for all ages, begins at 9:30 a.m.

A nursery is provided at both services, but children are encouraged to stay with parents if possible.

For questions regarding our children's programs and ministries, please contact our Director of Christian Education, Melanie Corn, at mcorn@splchapin.com.
